I discovered breathwork in the year 2000 and by learning conscious connected breathing I made powerful shifts in my life, at first, I was trained as a Rebirth Practitioner in 2002, then in 2010 I discovered Transformational Breath® and knew I had to re-train in this amazing technique.

Were you aware that most of us are only using 20-40% of our breathing capacity, and that our breath is our connection to our life force energy.  So if we are not breathing fully, we are not living fully right? The main intention of this work is to clear energy blocks from the system and the breath reaches places that the mind and the intellect cannot get to. So, this is a great technique to use alongside talking therapies or psychotherapy, because it gets to the root causal point of trauma which is locked in the muscle memory in the body. You can cognitively understand, accept and forgive your patterns with talking therapies but you can’t always reach the root cause in the body.

We control our breathing to avoid feeling this emotional pain, when we hold our breath this supresses our feelings but only temporarily. We do this most times unconsciously especially when we are shocked or scared. Transformational Breath® clears this emotional baggage stored within our body mind psyche permanently, by getting right to the root causal point of our issues whether these stem from our own childhood, passed down in our family or from ancestral patterns that feel stuck in our DNA, you will definitely feel lighter and freer after this powerful work.

Julie Ann Horrox is a certified Transformational Breath ® Facilitator, group leader and Co-trainer with 20yrs experience of conscious breathwork. Organising the Personal and Professional Training programme of The Transformational Breath® Foundation, in Glastonbury. She has travelled the world as a member of the International Breathwork Foundation and works for the prestigious Arrigo Programme in Somerset and A Place to Heal in London. She has a private practise in Glastonbury, as well as monthly clinics in Bournemouth, London and now HERE IN BRISTOL x

One-to-One Sessions

Transformational Breath® Sessions lasts for 90 minutes.
You will receive some personal coaching before the session to gain clarity on what you'd like more of in your life and to give direction to your experience. The breathing part of the session lasts for about 45 minutes and always includes a breathing analysis.

Please wear loose and comfortable clothing for your sessions.

Intention setting is important to enable you to move forward with clarity and propose. Before your first full breath session, you will be given a breathing analysis to assess where your breathing is and what that means. You will be given clear guidance and full instructions on how to breathe, what to do and expect before we start the session and time to any ask questions at all.

Each breath session is designed around a specific intention or goal established by the breather.

Each session is a unique self-healing adventure. For approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, you will lie down, relax and engage in deep, connected breathing (continuous breathing with no pauses). You will be taught how to open restricted breathing patterns so your entire respiratory system is utilized. You will learn how to keep your focus and awareness on the feelings and energy patterns in your body as you breathe. Integration is often very gentle and joyful and at times intense. The result is a deep state of relaxation and peace.

Transformational Breath® is not therapy. It is an advanced technology which takes us beyond the mind into the transpersonal realm. Because the technique works so deeply, you may accomplish in one session what could have ordinarily taken years.

Some people have one specific issue to deal with and may only come for one session, receiving the breakthrough they need. However, most people have layers of issues that are all interconnected and therefore I recommend for your maximum benefit that a minimum of 3 consecutive sessions is most beneficial, a booking of 10 sessions can create significant life shifts. I have had clients clear major life patterns like anxiety, self-worth or asthma in as little as 1 to 5 sessions, with Transformational breath you can go as deep as you like, because there is in my experience always something else we need to
