The first step in changing a kitchen pull out tap is shutting off water to the existing faucet. This can be easily done by shutting off the water supply valve underneath the sink. If you need to reuse the water line, you can unscrew the nuts from the faucet and use a basin wrench to remove them. Be sure to use a wire brush to remove any rust on the nuts. Then, wrap the new supply line in plumber's tape. Next, screw the hot and cold water lines into place. After doing this, you should disconnect the faucet's hose. This will allow you more space under the sink.
